Kid's club "The City of Hope" in Marfino

In November 1998 HOPE worldwide - Moscow jointly with Marfino District Administration established a new program - the kids club "The City of Hope". "The City of Hope" was arranged for children from the Marfino District orphanages, and also for children from needy families living nearby the club. Children come to the club in the afternoon, after school. They study here, talk to each other and play. The club's name is "The City of Hope" and indeed it is a peculiar little "city". The purpose of this program is to teach children between the ages nine and sixteen how to interact with society. They engage in activities that will help them to develop and prepare for life on their own when they leave school and graduate from the orphanages.
