Novosibirsk: Back to School 2011! – “A Voyage into the Land of Knowledge”
September 1st is a big day for every child, and an opportunity for adults to remember their childhood days. Over 12,000 first-graders will go to school in Novosibirsk this year. When you see them you too may recall your own time in school, your first class, your first teacher. Novosibirsk: “Angels of HOPE” 2010 Christmas Tree Adventure
ÄWhen children are small they believe that Santa will bring them gifts on Christmas Eve. Some children are waiting for mystery gifts. Other children make a wish list in advance or write a letter and ask for a new toy train, or a remote control car, or a porcelain doll in a nice dress. They are all hoping for Santa to come and make their dreams come true.

HOPE's Fellowship Club for the elderly, the “Old Friends’ Home” has been running for eight years already. The Club’s members meet twice a week, have tea, fellowship and celebrate holidays together. They also receive charitable donations in the form of groceries each month.

Novosibirsk: HOPE Day for Orphans and Handicapped Children
 On May 31 HOPE worldwide - Novosibirsk and the Danone Company organized a HOPE Day for 1100 orphans and handicapped children from 15 orphanages in Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk Region, to celebrate the end of the school year. Two hundred volunteers for HOPE worldwide – Novosibirsk met with children in their orphanages to spend the whole day together: including fellowship, a festive program and presents. One of volunteer groups took a bus and went to a regional orphanage where 206 disabled children were waiting for them. The children were so excited that they met the volunteers at the door! More...
